Justin Call was born in Salt Lake City, Utah but considers San Diego, California, to be his true home. He was educated at San Diego State University, from which he received a BA in Honors English in 2013 and MFA in Creative Writing (Fiction) in 2022. He primarily writes novels, short stories, and essays, and he loves playing with boundary-breaking form in his creative pursuits. He currently resides in Sapporo, Japan.
